I stayed here for a fortnight, and my experience was fantastic—homely and peaceful. Mr. Anand and his family took exceptional care of us, providing useful information and assistance whenever needed, always just a call away. The new and clean utensils with all necessary kitchenette were provided and is worth the mention. The safety and security at this property are excellent, making it highly recommended for solo travelers. Mr. Stephen, the co-host, was also very supportive , helpful and friendly. In short, we had a blissful stay surrounded by beautiful nature—a true home away from home !!

What an amazing place !! This was my first solo trip up the mountains and must say it was just incredible. All alone just to be with yourself in such a pristine snow clad mountain surrounding is a truly amazing experience. I must mention here my special thanks to Harbeer who made sure my stay was comfortable and in cooking some good delicious Pahadi food. I highly recommend Bhala Ho to people who want to experience the joy of getting up to see the snow clad mountains across your windows and live a minimalist life for a change.

The local caretaker was one of the best I’ve had in my Airbnb travels. The place was private, with breath taking views,clean, and very quiet. I’m already planning my next trip;)

Nikhil and Aarti are wonderful hosts and by the end of our stay felt more like old friends. Deer Wood Cottage has my heart and we will definitely be coming back to this place soon. A cozy, warm and comfortable home decorated lovingly along with scrumptious food and peaceful surroundings. We were there for 4 days but did not feel like stepping out other than for walks around the property. Very child safe property as well, my 2 year old could not have been happier.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy 2 BHK property. The space was comfortable and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our time there. The view was nice, though not the most scenic, but the tranquil village setting more than made up for it. The village itself is small and soothing, perfect for a peaceful retreat. One of the highlights was seeing a fox up close — it was amazing to be so close to nature. The road to reach the property is not the best, so be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride. Nearby, there's an eco-village which, although closed during our stay, is surrounded by a thick forest of pine trees — a very scenic spot perfect for photography. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

The place is very peaceful with brilliant views, the amenities are great and Divya helped us with everything : it's a perfect place for a peaceful holiday with lots to do nearby. we did the treks ,walks and a safari as suggested by the host . The food in the ridge house was great. The place is away from the noise of the city and yet very well equipped with everything one can need and much more . It's a cozy vibe where one can spend days relaxing or working even . The weather is perfect and the temple nearby is worth visiting . Overall a more than perfect experience at the ridge house .

Beautiful and serene place. Nothing to complain about. Host and caretaker were always happy to help. Food was amazing. The property was so clean and green. Really a memorable stay and will visit again.

Great place with a wonderful vibe! Uma’s food is delicious, and she’s incredibly responsive. The house feels just like home—super comfortable and welcoming.

The most comfortable home around this part of Uttarakhand ! For me the most integral part of a stay is the host. I frankly cannot express in words how friendly and helpful the host was during our stay. Stephen always went out of the way to help us no matter what our requirement was. A truly exceptional host. The place has all the amenities you could ask for a comfortable stay. It also has a fully equipped kitchen. The view from the balcony is surreal. This place is ideal for long stays to laze around and also with plenty of nearby places to explore. Already made my plans to come back to this place in a couple of months :-)
