What a gem of a place. Everything is walkable Hopkins has my heart! Anything you need they live right on property and will help you out. Solo traveling no need to be concerned fun and very safe. Take a walk out back in the morning and have coffee. The bedroom has a beautiful view of the water ❤️

Monique was a lovely hostess. Her home was clean and cosy. Great value for the money. There is no A/C though and quite a few stairs to climb upon entry and exit.

The White Orchid Villa is a lovely house in a beautiful setting on the banks of the Sittee River. It's surrounded by large trees that were filled abundant bird life that was a treat to listen to while sitting in the hammock in the screened in porch. Due to its location on the river there are lots of mosquitoes so bug spray is a must, which also made the screened in porch that much nicer. There is a canoe available to go explore the river and the lovely Town of Hopkins is a short drive away. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of spices and everything you would need to prepare meals. The on-site caretakers Christina and Domingo were friendly and welcoming. Rupa, the owner was very helpful with suggestions and local contacts for tour guides. She also quickly responded to any questions we had. To top it off, there were friendly dogs with two adorable puppies that totally charmed my daughters. We would definitely come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The setting was quiet and peaceful. The house was nice and clean and well kept. The baboons gave us an exciting show from the window, the day we left. The children enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife. We recommend stepping foot on the dock for a beautiful view of the landscape. A quiet walk through the woods will bring you up to the entrance of the house. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We hope to visit again.

Sergio's cottage has all the amenities one needs for staying in this remote part of the island. The bed is very comfortable, the shower is great, and you even have a washer and dryer right on the premises, and then there is a brand new fridge :) You can cook your own delicious food on the BBQ outside or on the stove in the kitchen. Sergio went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! Travelers note; it will take you about an hour and a half to get from San Pedro airport to the cottage, driving a golf cart over exciting bumpy terrain and along the beach. The closest shop is about 20 min away. It helps to stock up on necessities in town before you get there. The closest restaurant is either 20 min North (Margaritaville) or 20 min South (El Norte). If you love nature and peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of town, and you like fishing and meeting the real people of this beautiful island this is just the place to be. We stayed for an entire week, and will definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay in Belize so much. This house was beautiful and worked really well for our needs. Location was great. The views were so nice. Morning coffee on the patio was awesome.

Michelle and Krystal are very kind and welcoming hosts. The AirBnB listing was quite comfortable felt and just like home from day 1. I’m grateful for my great experience in Belize thanks to them!

Everything was great with the property. We really enjoyed the location of the property being close to town, but not in the hustle and bustle. We did find out that it is useful to have a golf cart with a bridge pass because it costs five dollars usd to go over the bridge into town. The pool has a sun shelf that was great for a three-year-old. Gineli was very helpful

The ideal spot to enjoy the Placencia Peninsula. Near by great restaurants and easily accessible to Placencia Village. There’s a very relaxed peaceful vibe and Swan Villa for the bill perfectly. To top It off Mariam is a great host and always eager to lend a hand. I will definitely be back.

Great location and the rooftop pool and lounge area was even better than the pics! Great view! The rooftop area alone was worth the money! We'd definitely recommend to family and friends!

We absolutely loved this space for the three of us! It was spacious with a wonderful balcony, spanning the condo, overlooking the lagoon. Every day we were able to spot some of the resident crocs! This place is close to everything without being right in the hustle and bustle of San Pedro town. Only recommendation is to replace some of the pans (worn teflon) and check the seal on the refrigerator. Other than that, this is a great place to stay for a family that enjoys good views, great sunsets and quick access to town.

Fascinating architectural masterpiece and amazing grounds/pool/shared spaces. Quiet and private, but still 15 minutes from all the places you'd want to go in Placencia, and that also means it's convenient if your driving into the mainland to do hiking or ecotourism. Adorable geckos will come visit you in the (amazing) shower, and the whole place just feels special. Not walking or biking distance from the stuff to do in town, but if you have a rental car or golf cart this isn't a problem. 100% would stay again and highly recommend.
