Wonderful location, close to town. Had everything in the kitchen to enjoy thanksgiving with the whole family!! Definitely recommend and will rebook!!

The house was a perfect getaway for Thanksgiving! The kids enjoyed looking for crawdads in the creek, the playground, and yard for our Turkey Bowl. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. It was a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge. We really enjoyed our stay!

My family and I were gathering together from 3 different states to one mountain cabin in Georgia. We found Beary Happy because it met our requirements. Upon arrival, it was much better than expected inside and out! Rainy times were not a problem because the home had plenty to keep us occupied while the resort had lots for us to do when tge sun shined. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming, providing us far more than we could have hoped for. We lacked nothing but groceries, which were nearby. The cabin was spotless and smelled fresh! We hope to go there again in the future and we thank you for hosting us.

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and fantastic views of the lake below and the mountains that surrounded us. Easy to get into Murphy for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Chop House!! We will book this house again!

We had the most relaxing time staying at the Toccoa Riverfront Cabin. It was so peaceful to be alongside the river and yet be minutes away from restaurants, shopping, etc. Each day, a couple of geese came in along with a mallard duck pair. With the crystal clear water, it was cute to see their little webbed feet swimming in the water. We especially appreciated being able to bring our "fur babies" who also really enjoyed staying at the home. We slept amazingly in the upstairs bed. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone & would absolutely consider returning again.

Our stay was great! There was 14 of us and the home was extremely accommodating for everyone. Plenty of space and great views just as advertised. I hope to book this home again in the future.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Patricia's mountain lodge! We have to say the pictures do not do it justice. The lodge is situated so that you have privacy and a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge mountains. There were 11 adults in our party, and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and not crowd one another. The main living area had plenty of seating options for us to congregate to watch TV and/or play family games. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen was perfect for fixing large meals (the additional kitchen came in extremely handy as well). The outdoor living space had a gorgeous fire pit that was used on many of the chilly nights. There is a hot tub that was clean and ready for use. Darts and corn hole were also available. Just so much to do and so much to see! We highly recommend this location for anyone's family or friend gathering.

This was a nice place to unwind after two nights of wedding activities. I only wished we had more time to spend there. This home is located down a small lane with a home located on either side of it. So if you are looking for a private place , this may not work for you. However i never seen or heard the neighbors. The home is super clean and comfortable. You have plenty of towels there some comfort items left in the home in case you forgot them. I seen wild turkeys in the back field early morning.

Great cabin and awesome host! What a beautiful home and great location! The cabin was amazing and super high end! We even had a Christmas tree set up which was a really nice touch. We come up to the Blue-ridge area every fall and I have to say this was one of the nicest cabins we’ve stayed at in the last 15 years. Our host was amazing and super engaging and you can really tell she cares about you having a really nice stay. Beautiful view! 5 star!

Great hosts! Very responsive & detailed. The home is beautiful and perfectly equipped with anything you may need. It’s perfectly located close to Dahlonega and nearby vineyards.

Can I just say WOW?!?! This stay was truly a dream Christmas family vacation that we will never forget. We had more fun spending time in the cabin than we did going anywhere else. There was space for the adults and kids to equally enjoy. The hosts were so caring and accommodating and even had a Christmas tree put up for us before we got there. The amenities, the space, the cleanliness, etc., were incredible! Lifelong memories, thank you so much!!!

My cousins and I had a great stay here and it was absolutely beautiful.

The property was absolutely beautiful! We loved walking along the creek to the water fall with our toddler. The house was extremely clean and well organized. Joe was very good with communication if I ever had questions. The location was only minutes from town so while it felt as if you were in your own little paradise you were never far from all the action. Things that sealed the deal for us: -The amazing screened in porch. We spent many days out there playing games with our coffee and relaxing. - The handicap accessible entrance and bathroom. We traveled with a 91 year old and this property was PERFECT for her needs.

Our family of 8 plus two pups really enjoyed ourselves at BVC. We were able to relax and have tons of space to spread out and still feel cozy and comfortable. Moira and Doug gave clear instructions, were very helpful, answered all questions. Kitchen came with everything we needed to prep full meals. We only used hot tub once but enjoyed it! Lots of towels. We really enjoyed our stay and would return if we are ever in the area. We hiked Helton Creeks Falls and went to Helen GA for Christmastown fun. Thanks Moira and Doug. Blessings to you both. Had an amazing stay at Harold's country home! The home was cozy, well-equipped, and tranquil. Highly recommend for a Blue Ridge getaway!

Had a fantastic stay at Sellers Creek. If you have a student athlete @ YHC, it's perfect! Your less than a 5min walk to any of the sports fields/courts. Great home with lots of history. Will stay again and highly recommend.

We had a good stay at Whippoorwill. We cook a lot and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with different pots and pans and also basic necessities (salt pepper/sugar/oil/vinegar). The A/C works well and surrounding area is prettt quiet, it backs up to a national forest. The home was one minute away from a popular day-use area with lake access, picnic tables and trails. It's only a few minutes from the dam day use areas (including river access) and maybe 8 min from Morganton point day use area which was the nicest, most beach-like lake access point we found. I will say based on the google map image I was expecting the home to have more of a lake view, that was the only downside, but it's summer so the trees are grown in. You can see it from the upstairs windows and from part of the porch though and we were able to see fireworks displays over the lake in July 3rd and 5th (we could see some of the 7/4 ones over the dam but trees blocked some of them). I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our weekend at Sarolta’s place, and look forward to staying there again. It was perfect for my family. We have 3 kids- 9,6, 2. We spent a lot of time in the screen porch around the fire, relaxed on the porch taking in the mountain views, and enjoyed playing games in the basement. Check in was easy, and the location was perfect.

Jeffrey and Hope's home is truly breathtaking. Our family's Spring break 2025 was absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommend. Thank you!

The Airbnb’s was in a perfect location with many amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit, back porch and movie room as well as numerous games. The lake was low & the water was cold while there so we didn’t get to enjoy the water toys. ( end of March) However, we definitely plan to go back. The place was SO clean, cozy and comfortable with so much to do . If you get bored here you have a problem. The host was so accommodating. Margie even gave us a carton and of fresh eggs from their chickens. They were quick to respond to questions. Even though this is a basement apartment it didn’t feel like it because of the extra tall ceilings. Their at-least 12ft ceilings. I can’t say enough positive things about the place and the host. Doug even came down to help us with projector in the media room when we couldn’t follow simple instructions. He had left very good detailed instructions. The movie room is awesome!!! We will definitely be back!

This was the PERFECT getaway cabin for our family after the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving. The cabin was great and the VIEW we got was a surprise. No leaves on the trees and you could see mountains all around. We will definitely be back!
