We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

Lovely clean, comfortable and welcoming home. Really well equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, nice lounge. Bathroom has a lovely big bath and really good shower. Close enough to town centre and good bus and train transport links. Local shops and takeaways on the door step. Be warned walk to Buxton town steep on the way back! Overall fabulous stay in a lovely home.

Beautiful home and excellent hosts. Always ready to answer any questions we had and popped by when we needed help Would 100% stay here again. The home is well equipped and decorated to a high standard. The area is peaceful and perfect for a getaway. We was here for a friend's wedding, so didn't get to explore the area too much but the house was a great place to relax after a long day. Thanks to Robbie & Kelly for being excellent hosts.

A great house in a peaceful area of the Peak District, with plenty of space for five people (plus a dog). The rooms were all spacious and tastefully decorated. The views from virtually every window were spectacular. Thank you very much to the hosts.

We had the best stay at the house! My toddler didn’t want to leave! The amount of toys for him to play with was amazing!! His bedroom looked like a childs bedroom, lots of soft toys and toys to play with along with a dvd player and a tonne of kids dvds! The house was big, all bedrooms were an amazing size! We were very comfortable and happy! We all said this will be a base for future now! We come to the peaks every year! Kitchen was very well equipped, even has a slow cooker which we took advantage of! Nothing better than walking in after a long day to smell dinner ready to go! Rona was so lovely and very reactive to messages, when we got there we messaged about getting in and within a minute she was there in person! She also owns the shop next door with lovely gift bits in! Alot of which is made by her! Thank you!!

Lynley and Matt’s place accommodated a large family of 7, 2 children and 3 dogs perfectly! Lots of space, big spacious rooms, private and secure garden and big driveway! We came to stay due to a family funeral and wanting a hub to base ourselves but also accommodate seeing family and spending time together. The place is very well thought out, clean, spacious and perfect for a family get away. Lynley and Matt are super responsive hosts, really understanding of our situation and very accommodating. Definitely recommend this place!

What a beautiful place to stay! Absolutely spotless with everything that we needed. A great base for lots of walks but also a fabulous area to stay local and enjoy the cottage. Jackie was the perfect host; very helpful and always responsive. Hoping to return one day!

I loved spending Christmas at this caravan. It was beautifully warm and cosy in a gorgeous location with lots of excellent walking routes. Lovely hosts make you feel so welcome too.

Great stay as a family of 5 with two children and 1 infant. The stay was pleasant and a great location. We visited alton towers as well as Thorpe and Ashbourne. Great communication. Great recommendations. Very nice cottage and had everything you need to cook, relax, etc. Rooms were good, we didn't love the bed but it's personal choice. A bit noisy having our baby in the travel cot but we slept okay. We didn't get to explore any walks but seems to be in such a fab location to do some.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

We loved our stay at the cottage. Festively decorated and we had a nice welcome surprise on arrival. Check-in was super easy and we had quick replies with any queries we had. Comfy beds and vintage decor and furniture. Only negative was that I thought the radiator in the double room wasn’t working, until check out day when I realised it was just turned down to zero! So I was chilly most nights! 🤣. The swimming pool was great and we had it all to ourselves which was a bonus. I didn’t see the games room but friends kids that visited had a great time there. I would recommend and I would stay again for sure!

We stayed in the main farm house in a group of 6. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in every room. The garden was large with a hot tub, outdoor seating and sand pit for the kids. Loved the fact you can feed the goats, there was a full guide to recommended places nearby for days out and places to see or visit. The host was really lovely and available to help whenever we needed. We would definitely love to come back here and see more of the surrounding areas and especially chatsworth house and gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to have a chilled, peaceful holiday and for people wanting to get out and see the beautiful local towns, history and days out with the kids. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

My parents had a lovely few days in Margaret’s beautiful home in Ashbourne heights. Margaret was so helpful with any questions we had and was really kind. Her home is beautiful, so homely and comfortable. Ashbourne heights is a great place to stay and so much to do not far from the site. I recently stayed at clematis cottage it has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The cottage is a great place to unwind after a day of muddy walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside. The cottage was well-equipped and maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. I couldn't fault anything during my time there it was simply delightful! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape into nature and enjoy a peaceful retreat.

Perfect stay whilst researching family history of a relative who lived in Belper in 1880 for my book. Emma was kind enough to let me stay an extra hour so that I could finish the piece I was working on!

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

The Nook is a superb self contained accommodation. it's like a small house! it has all the amenities you could need. Loved it.

My husband and I stopped at this lovely airbnb for the night of our wedding day. It is in a fab location next to Whistle Barns and is a short walk from a canal. It is very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. There is a place to park your car also. Julie was a fantastic host and would definitely recommend staying here if in the area or attending a wedding at Whistle Barns

We had a wonderful time at The Shepherd’s hut! The hosts gave detailed information and checking in was easy. The views from the hut were stunning and it was lovely and warm and cosy inside. A lovely place to stay with plenty of walking spots around! Thank you 😁

We stayed in Luke’s accommodation for my wife’s 40th - from the off Luke was extremely responsive and helpful when planning where to eat and where to walk locally, with lots of recommendations. The pesto at the peacock was a 10 minute drive and a restaurant we can’t wait to return to. The accommodation was easy to find, quiet and secluded. Exactly as described and shown in the photos. The garden area was a sun trap and fantastic place to relax, with the hot tub also a nice touch. We would definitely return and thank Luke for the hospitality.
