We had a wonderful stay with our young family at Tomoya’s place. The place was very clean and well stocked for our needs, which included putting together some breakfast in the kitchen. The place is exactly as described and we appreciated use of the laundry as well. It was quiet, clean, comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is that it’s a 10 minute walk from the train station and not well located for buses and transit. We enjoyed walking around!

Wish we could have stayed longer here. The home was very neat & clean and had everything we needed. Tea & coffee provided was a welcomed touch after a long trip. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. They had extra little luxuries eg. Mouth wash, toothbrushes, combs, hair scrunchies, a few games and crockery if you have small children. Honeybee had the best western style futon beds so far, thicker, softer with warm, light, fluffy quilts. The shower temperature was adjustable if you like it hotter. There was a washer and dryer! The location is perfect, everything was walkable. Train station 15 min. Hotto motto takeaway 2 min. Convenience store 5 min. Old town 15 min along with all the restaurants, cafes and gift shops. The only thing to be aware of is typical steep stairs but they had the bonus of sensor lights for those late night bathroom trips. We highly recommend this beautiful home. El apartamento está perfecto. La habitación típica Japonesa es fantástica, muy acogedora. Futones cómodos. Baño y zona estar geniales también. Ruili nos recogió en la estación a nuestra llegada, fue muy amable. La zona es muy tranquila y bonita, juto al lado del río. Un placer.

今回、母1人幼児2人でお世話になりました。 宿探しには、 金沢駅付近から車で30分以内、洗い場付き風呂、靴を脱いで過ごせる所、できればリーズナブルに…（ホテルだとなかなか無い…） といった条件を挙げていましたが、こちらは全て当てはまりました！ 駐車場が目の前なのもとても便利です。 お部屋にはアンパンマンのおもちゃも置いてくださり、子どもらは大喜びで過ごせました。 部屋の随所に細やかな気遣いを感じます！ 退室時、私の勘違いでご迷惑をお掛けしてしまったのですが、ホストの方はとても親切にご対応くださいました。 チェックインの際も物腰柔らかく親しみやすい雰囲気でしたので、安心して滞在できました。 また機会があれば、滞在したいです。

You can watch the rice field and have a view of the mountains covered with snow at the desk. It’s scenic and peaceful at the same time when you have breakfast. Yoko-san and her husband are great hosts and the highlight of the whole experience was definitely the home-made breakfast prepared by them.

Nice place to stay for small family

A very clean, tidy, well organised and comfortable accommodation. Walking distance to McDonalds, shops, supermarkets and the Takayama train station. The host was super helpful and responsive. There’s a washing machine and dryer as well, which is a bonus! Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Takayama.

Everything's fine. The photos match the location. It's a bit far from the center, but you can walk and be in the historic center in 10 minutes.

Beautiful location probably the best in Kanazawa

Spotlessly clean and well-organised! The apartment had plenty of clean towels and essential amenities. Free parking right in front made it super convenient for families. No staircases—great for kids and elderly. The bedroom fits two queen beds, with comfy linens. Bathroom and toilet were spotless. Quiet area, yet walkable to Kokubunji Higashi restaurant street and Valor Takayama Minami Supermarket. For breakfast, we enjoyed Rinrin Café (run by a lovely elderly couple), Nanten Café, and Pickin Café (20+ only due to smoking area). Nearby bakeries include Train Bleu (delicious French pastries) and Koti Koti (pretty cookies and baked goods). We also relaxed at the nearby public onsen, Tenryo-no-yu—clean and soothing. For nightlife, Dekonaru Yokocho opens from 5 PM to 3 AM with food stalls and local vibes. Perfect stay for families or anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and local charm.

William is a great Airbnb host. We were delighted with the accommodation, the location, the easy instructions to get there and the facilities in the apartment. We were able to walk to lots of places of interest - the beautiful Japanese gardens were a real highlight. William was always on hand if needed, but everything was so straightforward so we did not need to call on him. Great stay and would recommend.

Stayed here during cherry blossom season and it was beautiful and convenient. The futon on the tatami was very comfortable. All the attractions were within walking distance. Michio was very responsive when I messaged about arriving earlier than check-in time and had a plan for our luggage. Great deal for your money!

Love the place, very considerate host even provided us with pyjamas. The place is as shown in the photos, mattress and blanket are comfy. We felt right at home. Short walking distance to 24hours Lawson, 7 mins walk to Kanazawa train station as described. Everything you need is in the train station. We loved it!

The hosts, Junichi san and Puy san are very accomodating and hospitable. The tourist spots are accessible from their airbnb. Hida Kokubunji is just accross the place. Our family enjoyed our stay.😊😊😊

If I could give 10 stars I would. I had an issue with my car and Taishi kindly helped me call the rental company. The road leading to the house was narrow, I drove a Nissan Kicks and it just fit the space. But it is convenient and about a 15 min walk to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen garden. The house is comfortable, and had 2 separate rooms. Which made it a nice home for my family (3 pax to stay). The house did have an issue with electrical tripping. But I suspect that was the power grid getting overwhelmed because of the snowstorm. All in all I really enjoyed my stay and the space given!

No complaints. An excellent Airbnb with great amenities, clear luggage drop-off instructions and check-in instructions. Katsuhiko was responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here if you're stopping by Kanazawa.

I really enjoyed my visit to Himi and Household. It is run by a fun and wonderful young couple with the cutest and friendliest toddler son ever. The full-time helper is the best. Someone has done a brilliant job of remodeling the building and making it homey. Don't miss the breakfast! It is delightful every day and you will get a chance to interact with the other guests. I went to Himi thinking that the fish would be good. I was delighted that I had found Household. Household took my stay from fun to splendid!
