We had such a great time at Jo’s place! The tent was more than we could have asked for, immaculately clean, great toilet and shower facilities, plenty of space in the living area and great kitchen. The stove was good fun to keep going and cook with, the weather was a bit chilly in the evening and the stove kept the place toasty warm. There was lots of space for the kids to run around and play and due to how the tents were situated you never felt as if you were intruding on any of the other guests. The kids lived visiting the chickens and the piglets each day on the way in and out of the site, they were very inquisitive pigs who run out to say hi when you go by!! We visited swanage, durleston copy they park and studland bay, all great days out with the kids and the dog. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back next year!!

We had a fantastic stay here as a family. Despite the typical British weather we were still able to spend lots of quality time together utilising the sheltered area to play card games and eat together. The location is so quiet and peaceful and perfect for a getaway. There was everything we needed plus local shops etc were a 10 minute drive away. Matt was great at checking in with us via message and ensured we had everything we needed. We had a great time and will definitely be recommending to friends and family. Thank you ☺️

The bell tents were lovely, very spacious with 5 beds inside and lots of lovely touches like tea lights and useful camping things you’d never think to bring. Thanks Nicky and the team for a lovely stay, highly recommended!

We had the most perfect time! Jono is a complete legend and made us feel right at home, he couldn’t be more helpful as a host. The care that has gone into the conversion of the safari tents is admirable, they have thought of how best to use every inch of space. We were a group of 4 + 1 dog but it would have comfortably held the two more adults, they’re huge. We borrowed Jono’s biked and cycled to the Sheppey pub which is around a 26km round trip but relatively flat route and well worth it. We also used the pizza ovens on site which was a great experience too. Thank you!

Absolutely fab weekend away! This place is such a unique experience and has great facilities, including comfy beds and sofas, pots and pans, games, table tennis, and cool boxes which makes a camping trip super easy for everyone. We will definitely be returning next year!

This is a wonderful and peaceful place. The caravan is spacious and full of games, books and general stuff to keep everyone entertained. Garden is just fabulous and the wildlife flourishes. This is a very child friendly place with lots of space for kids to run around and lots of things to do without having to leave the comfortable space…and you have chickens as your neighbours. Location is ideal for exploring nearby places & attractions and / or you can just walk to Longford which is a stunning place.

We had a great time here. The location was picturesque and there was plenty to do on our week long stay. The tent was ideal and surprised us with how roomy it was. Check in was easy as in they text to let you know it’s ready and you just turn up at your tent. Each tent has a BBQ kettle, fire pit, two deckchairs and a large beanbag so lounging outside is to be encouraged. The views are great and the animals on site are friendly enough. The only gripe we have (completely not anything the venue can solve) is the Earwigs! They get absolutely everywhere! If you’re going to stay here then be prepared and maybe bring some airtight containers (even then they’d find a way in!). The play barn area and farm activities are spot on and there’s a lot to do to keep you entertained and although you have to pay, if you’re staying on site then it’s pay once and use as many times as you like after. We ate at The Cow twice whilst we were here and the food was great, service was spot on and for a reasonable price as well. We had a great time here and we’ll definitely be making a return visit, albeit we’ll probably try a lodge next time round. Thanks for having us!

What an absolutely beautiful, peaceful and private space! We’d taken a trip to see a singer at Smoke on the Waters and Tom’s place was right round the corner, I chose it for location but I’d choose it again in a heartbeat! This trip is exactly what we needed for a rare couples weekend away without the little one, we were blessed with great weather & Tom even helped start the hot tub when we struggled! Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us. We’d gladly make the 6 hour trip to return. You really have thought of everything! Also everyone we met was so friendly, shout out to the team at Smoke on The Waters for being so welcoming too - BBQ food to die for, highly recommend! My only issue is that we didn’t stay longer! Xx

We loved staying here! Such a different experience with the great addition of the hot tub. The hosts were really helpful and made an extra effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible

A fantastic and fun place to stay - our two girls had a great time feeding donkeys and finding eggs from the chickens. Place is really well kitted out, comfy beds etc. We stayed in February and it warmed up quickly and stayed warm. Great location close to Totnes and close but not too close to the roads to go further afield.

The big hoot is a perfect place to stay if you're looking to get away. The garden is beautiful and so peaceful. Great to wake up to. My son really enjoyed the play barn. There's so much there to do for children and adults too! The caravan was lovely. Everything was very clean, cosy and comfortable. Everything was easy to find and Nigel and Maria were very welcoming and attentive. We would love to come back one day! We really enjoyed our stay ☺️

Perfect cozy getaway! Problem free and had everything and more that we needed. Lovely to see the animals around the accommodation. Peaceful and private. Was a pleasant surprise to see coffee, tea, sugar and milk left for us. Cute Loveheart sweets too. Log burner was the finishing touch. As soon as we arrived Richard introduced himself and gave us some tips on getting to the local village which is a few minutes walk away. Checking was seamless. Would 100% return.

Had a wonderful mini vacation at such a beautiful sheep safari lodge. The whole lodge was impeccable and the attention to detail with the decor and the use of space is creative and wonderful. All the little extras that Nikki and Martin have added make it even more special. The surroundings are spectacular and to see all the well kept and loved animals and have the opportunity to feed them made this whole experience even more magical. Both my children 16 and 12 can't wait to come back as they were so impressed and I have to admit I'll be getting us booked in again soon. Thanks again Nikki for all your help suggestions and kindness and sharing your slice of heaven in Devon with us. Couldn't have asked for a better host and a gem of a place.

The perfect location for a stop half way to the lizard. Exactly as described shabby chic. Found it even in the dark although a single track road for the final stretch but easy enough. Very considerate hosts checking we were warm enough and bringing another heater to make sure. Would use again to break up the journey. Would have liked to have explored the area a bit more had we arrived earlier but M5 car park was living up to its name!

Nous avons passé 2 nuits agréables dans ce camion réaménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Il est situé dans une partie un peu à l’écart du camping à la ferme, dans un environnement calme et splendide. Les sanitaires (un peu éloignés du camion ) étaient propres pendant notre séjour, et la cabine téléphonique réaménagée en WC est là pour les besoins nocturnes. A noter aussi un restaurant/pub à proximité, accessible à pied à travers champs. Je ne regrette pas mon expérience chez Linda ! Merci !

The bell tent is in such a gorgeous location and was really cosy and comfortable. Lovely touches like the al fresco option for bathing makes it feel like a very special treat. There’s also so many stunning walks and spots to visit locally. A great place!

Wonderful stay. Hot tub excellent, bought our own dough to cook pizzas outside. If stormy weather - bring earplugs. Had amazing sunshine one day and storms the other. So got all the experiences. Thank you.

I booked this as a last minute surprise for my boyfriend, and when we arrived he said it was being in a fairy tale!! Stephen and Amanda came and greeted us and showed us the caravan, which is tucked at the bottom of their garden, it was so peaceful, watching the birds and squirrels. Everything was catered for and enjoyed relaxing by the fire til midnight listening to the owls. And the bed was so snuggley! Slept so well!! Highly recommend if you want a piece of nature and outdoor living with all your creature comforts! Many thanks, definitely will return. 😊

This was a lovely stay- very peaceful, relaxing and cosy. The hot tub was brilliant and the hosts were really helpful with helping us to set this up. The bed was super comfy too. Would recommend :)
