Loved the place I would go back again. Would love to go back when it is warmer so we could enjoy sitting out back on the deck and listening to the river. Couple of things to keep in mind. It tells you that they will give you a bundle of wood but if you want to start a fire in the fireplace for each day you are there you will definitely need to bring your own wood. The internet is very spotty. Tried watching Netflix and it would stop on us to look for internet service again. We had a hard time figuring out the TV and what remote to use to get to Netflix and so forth. They do good on giving you directions on how to turn the surround sound on but we didn’t see anything about the TV. There is a road right next to the house and cars drive very fast on it so make sure to watch pets. But again I liked the place.

2nd time we stayed. Place was charming and clean. All necessities for lodging were provided and the communication was timely and clear. I recommend.

Beautiful serene place by the river. Stunning renovated interior that reveals the beauty of its surroundings. Very thoughtful offerings throughout the house - bathrobes, multiple towels, very comfy mattress and soft cotton linens, new large hot tub that works and water is very clean…and many more. As a chef, this house had everything I needed and I couldn’t be more happier with the offered items. Would 100% return next time I’m in mt hood.

Great spot, great stay.

We took off for a few days to get away with friends to celebrate our 50th anniversary. I happened on the Palmer Cabin after weeks of searching. It was exactly what I was looking for. It was in a great location, lots to do and see in the area, quiet and comfortable. The hot tub was great and sitting by the gas fire place in the evening was nice. We did most of our cooking there and the kitchen was well stocked with last-minute stuff that we may have forgot to bring. Check in and check out Instructions were easily understood. Would definitely come back here again.

From the moment we arrived, our group found this place remarkable. Five ladies commenting throughout our stay of how clean the home was, how well it is maintained, the locations beauty, all the things. One thing that seemed to stand out to all of us was the feel of the home. It felt like we had returned to visit a familiar old friend. From booking to checking out, our experience was excellent.

Loved the hot tub after a long day on the mountain. Great place for the kids and grandkids. Would recommend 100%

We are no stranger to Sun River, but this has been our favorite cabin and stay. An easy 5 min walk across the street to SHARC was fantastic and the daily highlight of our trip. The cabin was perfect, well decorated, and had me searching online real estate sites for something similar. We found none as charming, so we will have to stay in this beautiful home again.

We needed a weekend getaway and Cheri’s cabin was perfect. It’s quiet, right on the lake, and oh so cozy. We were right at home! Hubs and I fell in love with how quiet it and clean it was. As soon as you walk in, it smells fresh and clean. They have all the utensils necessary for a quick meal, and super cute s’more kits (paid separately). We absolutely adored the weekend here, and loved the fishing options. We are hoping to come back during the summer with our kids!! :)

We had a great stay. It was a perfect location and clean. We will definitely stay again.

The Mill Cabin was sweet and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there. We asked to stay an extra night and Tab was flexible and helpful.

This was one of our favourite vacation rentals of all time. We had a fantastic, peaceful, weeklong getaway at the Lone Wolf Cabin. The lack of Wifi and cell service was a massive plus for us. Our two dogs had a blast exploring the woods around the cabin and hiking the local trails. There were so many dog-friendly amenities! We're already dreaming of when we can return (and our dogs keep asking us when we can go back).

The cabin was exactly how it was described and it was a hassle free check in and out. Was pleasantly surprised to find way more than expected in the kitchen as well as some staples like four and sugar. I definitely didn’t need to bring as much as I did. Very nice experience.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of our getaway here. There is an intrinsic charm and timeless allure to the cabin, that made it evident the owners are thoughtful with each unique item within it. The fireplace was an incredible feature that we admired each morning and night with the record player spinning away (with a more than fine selection of records I must say). The porch overlooking the picturesque tree-shrouded ZigZag River was a dream. We took advantage of local businesses in Fernies Coffee, which had us hooked from the start. We mistakenly waited until the final day of our stay to walk there via the "loop trail" detailed in the cover of the guestbook. What an experience in itself! While staying here, we were sure to visit the Bagby Hot Springs; an hour and half drive south. Please do not pass up that opportunity to experience the immersion into nature like no other. We could not have asked for a better experience at the cabin!

The Starry Night in was absolutely the cutest, most charming place I’ve ever stayed!!! Perfect for two with a beautiful mural, cozy fireplace, eclectic art, and plenty of space! The bed was super comfortable and couch area was so nice! The area around Seaside is perfectly walkable too and super safe! You also get access to the lobby area which has free snacks, breakfast items, and art and trinkets to purchase! They also have tons of stuff to borrow like games and beach blankets. We also got greeted by the sweet cat Beefcake in the lobby :) amazing stay and will stay again if we are ever back in the area!!

The Red Blanket Cabin is set in a very quiet and private location. The directions to it were very easy to understand and to have access code to get inside worked out perfectly. The bed is a Sleep Number mattress which was very comfortable. The kitchen had very nice silverware and pans. Cabin was very comfortable.

We were very pleased with the scenic location and tranquil nature of the cabin provided and Kerri and her partner. The property was very spacious and we were given free rein to explore. Our dogs absolutely loved the place and, after meeting Kerri's dogs and their chickens and horses, I'm sure they were very disappointed to have to leave. While we did not give ourselves enough time to fully explore their little part of the world, the mountains, canyons, and rivers we were able to visit were as amazing as can be expected in that beautiful part of Oregon. The cabin was cozy and warm and had more amenities than we expected for such a rustic and "off-grid" location.

We enjoyed every single moment in Shaelyn's cabin. The remoteness, the spectacular views, the clean and cosy interior, the large porch, the outdoor shower, the birds flying by closely. The cabin is off the grid which we perceived as a pleasant and rewarding challenge. What you get is a truly peaceful and back to the roots experience. Thank you!

It was a super cute cabin I absolutely loved my time there!

The cabin we stayed in was quite delightful. We stayed there a weekend in January in order to be close to snowboarding at Willamette Pass. The cabin and another house are in the woods. It is incredibly quiet there and the stars are out brilliant to see at night. But, it is only a four minute drive into town and then around a half an hour to get to Willamette Pass. I hope to stay there again soon !

Our second visit and just as relaxing and beautiful as before. We love the wood fired hot tub, exploring their property, and the set up of cabins. A really unique place with great hosts. We’ll be back again!
