Really nice, newly-renovated rooms with very welcoming hosts. Beautiful views, nice farmhouse yard for kids to run around in or for relaxing in a hammock. The hosts were able to arrange for a guide to take us up towards Kol Tor with horses. We didn't use the kitchen, but the provided breakfasts were excellent and the hosts prepared us two multi-course gourmet dinners at an additional cost. The upstairs sleeping space is very comfortable, with a double bed, a twin bed, and a Kyrgyz-style sleeping pallet comfy enough for an adult for the fourth member of our group. The upstairs has just a sink and toilet, with the shower downstairs. Kegety is beautiful and this is a very comfortable, friendly place to stay. Damira speaks excellent English.

It’s fantastic, absolutely worth money

The mountain cottage is one of the best places we have ever stayed. It is the perfect mixture of isolated yet connected and although we stayed for a week we wished we had booked longer. Some Tips: Although it is in the mountains and on google maps it looks like there is nothing around there are amenities near by: A very small shop is about 1KM away, it has bread, beer, crisps, cigarettes and pelmeni. The town of Otogon has slightly bigger shops and is easy to hitch or get a marshrutka from the main road. The waterfall is a 2 hour walk or the road away, but it felt very safe to walk. There is an old Soviet camp nearby that if contacted in advance will prepare dinner for you for 350 som. There is a Marshutka (number 383) from Tokmok that has 3 departures a day. Hitchhiking is also very very easy (the first car stopped for us each time we tried) The cottage has a fridge, 2 cooking hobs, an electric water heater, and a western toilet. Thank you so much. I stayed here for 1 night on my way to Chon Kemin nationalpark. It was super peaceful and quiet, a lot of beautiful nature around the house. The hosts are super lovely and welcoming and the food provided was really delicious. I really recommend staying here if you want to find some inner peace and relax in nature :)

uitstekende uitvalsbasis om de Buranatoren te bezoeken en een daguitstap.naar lake Kol Tor te maken..Tokmok heeft op 10 min wandelen een gezeliige buurt om ´s avonds iets te eten alsook een grootwarenhuis Globus. De uitbaters zijn supervriendelijk en brengen je graag tegen betaling naar de Buranatoren of Konorcheckcanyon (1 uur rijden). Je kan tegen betaling een avondmaal krijgen. Keuze uit een menu. Wij zouden er terug gaan!
