beautiful as always

SherLynne’s place was exactly as described, and just what we needed. Plenty of space, and a 3-minute walk from the baseball field (we came to watch our oldest son play college baseball). Lots of room if you want to cook a large meal. Very nice walking path close by. Nice quiet location also. Would stay again.

We loved the cottage and the beautiful lake! Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and our time here with family! Everything was clean and fresh!

Jeffery is an awesome host. I stayed for 2 months and the place is wonderful. Comfortable bed, great heating when temps dropped below zero. Jeffery always kept the snow cleared. Cabin has everything to make your stay comfortable. I will definitely return when working in the area.

We were scheduled to stay for 3 days. There was a thunderstorm that knocked power out at the house, and several other places in the surrounding town. Lillian communicated with us before we ever arrived in Friday evening, offered to refund my money for one night. After several hours, we rented a hotel room nearby. I didn't want to have to move all of our stuff out of the hotel and repack. I asked her for a full refund. Lillian communicated that I needed to ask Airbnb to cancel our stay, because she couldn't just refund me without that being done first. I messaged Airbnb and asked them since it was an Act Of Nature that prevented our stay. Messaged Lillian back, and with no hesitation, my stay was cancelled and money totally refunded!!! To say the very least I was impressed with the way she stayed in touch throughout the evening, and handled the whole weekend cancellation with grace. Without a doubt, I will book it again in the future through Lillian. She's the best!

We plan on visiting this place again in the future. Pig skin bar and grill was a little over block away. My wife visited several shops close by and a really nice coffee shop below us. There isn’t a TV but there is no need for one. So much to do and enjoy!

This was a great place! If I could I would come back and stay more than one night. The only things I would mention are that the switch in the kitchen that you think is a light switch is the garbage disposal, so watch out haha, and if you are staying a Saturday night be aware that none of the restaurants in town will be open for breakfast Sunday morning (but that's not Verlin and Shannon's fault). The place is clean, welcoming and peaceful. There were helpful instructions everywhere, and little gifts and amenities throughout. We had no trouble staying warm, plenty of blankets. The coffee is a Keurig. The layout is great, with one of the bathrooms being in a bedroom and the other available to the whole house. All in all it was perfect for us passing through headed north, but if you have reason to be in the area for longer avail yourself of this great place to stay.

We loved staying at the cabin. As teachers, we just needed a couple of days of quiet, no distractions, no paperwork and just plain peacefulness. It was a beautiful area, the lake and just all around wonderful.
