The three of us who rented Katie's Airbnb are all in our 70's and we loved the peaceful, quiet and friendly neighbourhood. Each of us had our own bedroom with an attached ensuite, which gave us our privacy and space. The property is ideally located, close to some very nice restaurants (all recommended by the Lizbeth (the co-host). On several occasions we required to make use of Uber transportation, and the drivers had no problems locating our pick-up point. Prior to our arrival, I was in constant communication with both, Katie & Lizbeth, who were very prompt in their responses and provided ample advice and information on matters of all kinds. I was particularly impressed with their attention to detail in making sure that their guests are not burdened with any worries and are left to enjoy their vacation. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Casa La Escondida to visitors to Merida looking to spend some quality time in a beautiful city. Thank you Katie & Lizbeth!

Everything was as good or better than the photos. Very quiet neighborhood. We were able to rest and recharge for our next round of traveling. We definitely would stay again.

Ce fut un séjour inoubliable. Les photos ne rendent pas justice car la maison est d’une beauté incroyable. Tout était parfait! Dès notre arrivée tout était à notre disposition et beaucoup plus de ce que nous espérions. Maria est d’une gentillesse, elle nous fait sentir comme si c’était notre maison. Elle nous répondait rapidement. Nous allons revenir certainement !

Really immaculate place to stay, it was stunning. Worth every penny. Such a secluded and serene spot, the courtyard in the middle is a dream. Great kitchen, comfy bed, nice bathrooms, and the pool is fantastic. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, highly recommended.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Apartment! Die Küche ist super eingerichtet, sauber und alles da was man braucht! Mit dem Pool und der Terrasse konnten wir wenig anfangen. Uns fehlten gemütliche Terrassen Möbel. Allerdings waren wir in Merida den ganzen Tag unterwegs, so dass wir sie nicht vermisst haben. Das Apartment ist etwas außerhalb. Ein Auto empfehlenswert. Allen in allem würde ich das Apartment weiter empfehlen und danke an Jesus Augustin für die entspannte, freundliche Kommunikation.

I think the most outstanding feature when I compare to other properties in Mérida wAs the layout in terms of privacy for three couples (or small families). It was a very spacious and pretty space and was a lovely place to return to after our adventures, both inside and outside of Mérida You will have to walk a little bit to get to the main action, but we were up for that and wanted to be in a neighborhood. Eduardo and Fabiola were very responsive.

La casa es super bonita, es muy limpia, Don José es una persona muy amigable y estuvo atento todo el tiempo y fue muy flexible con los horarios. Cuenta con lo necesario para tener una estancia agradable. Es super bonita la casa!!! La recomiendo muchísimo, si tienen oportunidad, vengan!!! sin duda vamos a regresar muchísimas veces más, ¡Muchas gracias Don José!

Die Unterkunft ist super! Wir haben uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt, es hat uns an gar nichts gefehlt - Gianna und Brian haben an alles gedacht und im Vorfeld alle nötigen Informationen bereit gestellt. Sie waren immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Jeweils über die Schlafzimmer gelangt man zum Pool - eine wirklich schöne Oase zum Entspannen. 100% Weiterempfehlung. :)

El alojamiento tal cual las fotos, la ubicación fue buena, julio siempre atento de cualquier imprevisto la comunicación fue rápida y efectiva, las camas muy cómodas para descansar, sin duda regresaría.todo excelente!!

We hebben absoluut genoten van ons verblijf. Het zwembad was natuurlijk ook erg fijn voor de kinderen (en onszelf 😊). Het kingsize bed was super inclusief erg goede kussens. Je hebt wel een auto nodig om ergens gemakkelijk naartoe te geraken (Mérida stad). Wel één kleine opmerking: de honden aan de overkant van de straat durven wel wat te blaffen (maar wel al een geluk niet ‘s nachts).
