Grace’s place was wonderful! The location was perfect and quiet. I would definitely stay there the next time I am in that area!

Had a wonderful stay at the house. Great location right in town, close to the pubs, restaurants and independent shops of Ulverston. House is charming and quirky, laid out across four storeys, with plenty of room for guests. The cellar sauna is a lovely touch and was very welcome after a day of walking! One thing to note is that the toilet is on the second floor, up two flights of stairs, so if you have limited mobility it might be difficult. Otherwise, no hesitations to recommend to anyone looking for a fun and comfortable place to stay in town.

Had a great stay for a couple of nights. A cosy and comfortable stay and loved the quirkiness of the building. Really nice decor which matched the feel of the house. Will definitely come back next time we visit Lancaster. Also nice to meet Claire in person. Thanks Ian and family.

Super helpful hosts, great location - the apartment is like a tardis! Immaculately clean and has everything you need. We only needed the apartment for one night but would happily return and stay longer.

Fantastic location for the centre of Ulverston that was in walking distance to the shops, pubs and restaurants. Grace was a friendly host, with great communications and was very accommodating with our pets. Enjoyed our festive stay and would use again in the future.

Grace's place is situated at the heart of Ulverston. All the pubs and restaurants are at walking distance. The place itself is big enough for 10 folks. Kids loved the big loft and were happy to be on their own. Kind regards Harshal

Graces place was perfect for me and my mates that where climbing Scafell Pike! We didn’t stay long but the parking is great with on site parking and a car park just down the road for more cars, Also a very good location for food and a beer, and not to far away from the climb. The time we did spend in the house we found it very clean, plenty of good beds which are comfortable and good showers. Good heating, turn down before going to bed! This was perfect for us, Thank you Grace.

Super good house for a group, the games room is great, well equipped kitchen, nice BBQ. Hot tub was a great addition. Plenty of space for everyone. Would stay again.

Excellent location right by the castle. Very quiet when we were there in the evening/overnight. High standard accomodation. Easy parking. Excellent communication with Brian at all times. Would highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay, it was clean, everything you needed inside, kids loved what they called the secret play area (the carpeted section on the second floor!) 20min walk into town where they had plenty of shops and places to eat, not far to Windermere etc. Loved the extra little touches left for us too, would definitely recommend.

Michelle is a host who considers her guests' comfort and convenience very thoughtfully. Her place is cosy and warm, equipped with every amenity that a traveller may need when visiting a new place. My nephews and I really enjoyed our stay at her abode. I have no hesitation in recommending her accommodation and services.

We stayed in this beautiful home over Christmas. It was perfect for the family; a spacious house, with cosy rooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped which was very useful for our Christmas dinners. Louise was a great host, excellent communication and friendly.

Lovely weekend break in the Lakes. The house was spotless and super comfortable. All amenities were in walking distance and the location was great for exploring different parts of the Lake District. The hosts were extremely helpful and on hand if needed. We would definitely go back.

Very central location. Great accommodation for our multigenerational family group of 12 at New Year. The large attractive open-plan living/kitchen area is perfect for groups to come together and socialise, but still have space if you want a quieter moment. The building is well soundproofed, and although central in the town, was quiet at night. Good self-catering facilities and equipment with Booths supermarket very close by for some lovely treats (also small Co op and Sainsburys a short walk away). Numerous cafes and restaurants are on the doorstep. Windemere is beautiful at New Year, with lovely festive shop window and street decorations, and although busy, has a more leisurely village feel than some other Lake District towns at that time of year. Would recommend.

Very convenient location. Friendly interesting host. We were able to use the kitchen which was very helpful and helpful provided help yourself breakfast. Bed comfy and pleasant room.

Ideal place for us for a day out at Morecambe golf club. Place was exactly as described, perfect for our needs, with clear instructions and expectations. Very helpful host with recommendations on where to eat as well.

Really glad we chose this accommodation. We had mixed weather on our trip so having somewhere homely, spacious and entertainment was a blessing. House has been kept beautifully and prepared so that it was very clean and tidy. Great location for a walk into town or surrounding walking routes. All-round great stay! Thank you.
