This property is stunning - keeps the vibe of a traditional Japanese building with a perfect modern touch. Perfect for a family but a car is definitely required to explore the area.

The location is close to the main road, there are many restaurants around, there is also a supermarket. This house have 2 floors is quite comfortable for 13 of us, 6 adults and also 7 children. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. There are 4 rooms here, we only use 3 rooms is enough, there is still 1 room with a tent to play. And 1 toilet near stairs. On the 1st floor there is a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, toilet, and a large playroom. Outside the house there is a large yard, suitable for children to play Unfortunately we arrived here at night and only slept overnight, the next morning we had to continue our journey so we couldn't enjoy the facilities

ホストは親切で、滞在前滞在中の連絡も滞りなく対応いただきました。 3家族で利用しました。 布団もあらかじめセットしていただいていたのですぐに敷くことができましたし、子ども向けのおもちゃもたくさんあり喜んでいました。 外でBBQをするためのテーブルや椅子もわかりやすく用意いただき、スムーズに準備片付けを行うことができました。 建物は古いものの中は非常に綺麗にされており、快適に過ごすことができました。河口湖からも近く、朝は湖畔まで散歩でき、ロケーションもよかったです。 総じて楽しい滞在でした！ありがとうございました。

Beautiful place secluded in privacy and serene. Place is well designed , clean , all amenities provided. Good place to stay with family and a place definitely recommended for stay. The view of Mount Fuji is just so stunning !

Tomoko's place has an absolute stunning view for Mount Fuji, and it only takes 1 minute to the yamanaka lake. we wake up at 6am, and are able to see the reflection of Mount Fuji in the lake.

This was one of my favorite places I stayed at during my entire Japan trip! Having a whole house to our group of 4 was amazing because there was just so much ample space and it felt like we were having such an authentic experience being in a Japanese home. Everything was maintained really well and the host was very responsive and helpful. It's a great deal for the price and the location is stunning and peaceful. I was anxious that the home would be difficult to find but it's a quick walk from the Hakone Open-Air Museum and has a Lawsons and a few eating spots nearby. Loved it and would stay here again. Thank you!

A rural retreat, off the tourist path, but easily accessible by train from Tokyo. We were keen for some rural Japan after quite a few stops in urban centres. The house is in a quiet, unspoilt setting. You can do short walks from the house that can include views of Mount Fuji down the valley. There's other places you can pop into too, such as the Owl Cafe or the wonderful deli/shop at the petrol station up the road. The house itself has kept its rustic and traditional appearance and features, while also having very functional equipment, from Wifi to everything you'd need for cooking. Some great places to read and relax in, from the garden to by the wood burner. We did not have car which was fine - it's just 6 minutes by taxi from the station, but a car would allow you to explore further afield. Ryo the host was very helpful with answering questions rapidly and clearly. I would highly recommend!

Hirotake-san was such a responsive and accommodating host. We had a few last minute changes and Hirotake-san was gracious enough to help us. The accommodation was perfect for our group of people and we all enjoyed a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We would definitely recommend this property for future trips and we will tell all our friends to stay here because Hirotake-san is so helpful.

This location amd stay was perfect. Communication and coordination with Yuki was perfect. The staff on site was amazing, and I'd like to give a special praise to Chang (spelling may be wrong). There is nothing that i felt could be improved upon. The only recommendation i have for guests is to request clarity on the exact location. It is very remote and peaceful, which means it can be difficult to find if only using AirBnB directions.

This is the best house Ive ever seen. The every detail inside the house impressed my family. highly recommended to stay here for few days to creat your own wonderful memory

We very much enjoyed our stay here ! The house is very large with 4 bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, bath tubs both indoors and outdoors and everything you need for a fantastic holiday. It is located in a peaceful forest area away from the crowds. If you have a dog, there are also plenty of facilities for your pet. Very easy to get from the house to Lake Kawaguchi and Chureito Pegoda, the 7 seas of Oshino, many temples, gardens, museums and also the F1 racetrack. If you have a car, this home is a perfect base to get everywhere. We really felt at home and enjoyed that everyone had their own bedroom with comfortable beds.

サウナや露天風呂の施設に加え、ローケーションが最高でした！建物自体もすごい綺麗で、これこそ理想の別荘だと感じました！ アメニティや便利グッズが至る所に配置されており、オーナー様の気遣いが感じられる大変よいステイでした！ 本当に全部最高だったたので、リピート間違いなしです！

This place was a wonderful stay for me and my guests. The views were amazing, and the private onsen was amazing to use. The only thing I have to note which is not the the fault of the location, is that it is not really walkable. the closest bus stop is around 500m down hill, and walking all of your luggage up the hill is a very hard task on a very small road. other than that, and the AC being a bit difficult to figure out in English, the place was immaculate and we will definitely be coming back if we are in Hakone again, next time with a car.

チェックインも柔軟に対応していただき、すぐにプライベート空間でくつろぐことが出来ました。周りに家はあるものの、サウナ･半外風呂のエリアはプライベート感があり全く人目を気にすることなくゆっくりできました。お風呂が素晴らしく、鳥の声を聞きながら1日何度も非日常を味わうことが出来ました。食事は車で10分弱のところにひまわり市場というスーパーがあり、厳選された食材やお菓子を調達しに滞在中2回も通ってしまいました。野菜も肉も全ての食材が新鮮でした。ピザ窯をレンタルしたので自分で粉から作ろうかと思いましたが、ひまわり市場のピザがめちゃくちゃ美味しく、種類も豊富だったのでとても楽しめました。犬を連れて行ったのですが、外も中も楽しく過ごすことが出来て本当に楽しかったです。目の前を走る電車は1時間に1本くらい、2~3両編成の小さな電車、しかもお客さんもほとんど乗っておらずそれもまた非日常的でおとぎの国にいるような感じでした。また是非遊びに行きたいです。

We had a great time in this chalet! It is in a quiet area at the foot of the southern Alps, surrounded with sakura trees, just nearby to some good trailheads to the natural park, but without being too isolated. The house was sparkling clean, confortable and functional - in particular the wifi was fast and I could get some remote work done. It felt great to have lunch on the sunny terrace in this big garden. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, and easy to deal with.

Fit for big family stay! Everything we need is informed by the host before we stay. The location is perfect for going shopping and natural hot springs.
