Prior to boarding, pose like a seasoned pro for a photo shoot with the airplane. Once you’re on board, the pilot will give you an overview of the instruments and controls. After getting clearance from the tower, you’ll taxi to the runway for takeoff. Once at cruising altitude, you’ll learn basic flying skills in the training area over the Simi Valley. Then, grab hold of the controls and feel free to move about the skies, exploring LA by air. Finally, in preparation for landing, you’ll come back down to earth at Van Nuys Airport. Other things to note IMPORTANT : This experience is currently only offered as a private experience. The guest has to book both spots on the experience and will be allowed to bring an additional guest to sit in the back seat. Only one guest will be in the front seat. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTORS: The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. Your safety is our main priority! All of our lead instructors are ISA (International Surfing Association), CPR & First Aid certified, we obtain Water Safety Specialists certificates (surfing instructor safety training) and I also completed 2 Level surf instructors program with ISA. PHOTOS: One of the instructors will try to take complimentary GoPro photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. A morning hike to stunning city views, in a dog friendly park with our rescue dogs! Non-profit, all proceeds go to the very dogs you are walking, who are also up for adoption. We'll meet friendly people on the way and let them know about the dogs. A nice walk up hiking trails to the top of Runyon Canyon. Fantastic city views, and the perfect view of the Hollywood Sign! As you climb your way up the hill with your new pals in tow, you’ll be exercising and socializing the dogs, and letting locals know they’re up for adoption. You’ll also become a puppy paparazzi and take their photos in front of panoramic backdrops—you can even pose with them with the famous Hollywood sign behind you. Your pictures will then be used to generate interest in the rescue organization, attract potential adopters, and bring in donations that will help further care for and foster the dogs until they find their forever homes. NEW! We have added afternoon hikes Thursday through Saturday. Watch the sun set from 1000 feet above LA, amazing view as we walk down Runyon Canyon... and then you can go explore Hollywood and West Hollywood, a short walk away for an evening coffee or dinner! We takeoff from Torrance Airport whose origins are traced back to World War II. Airborne we will fly over such amazing Los Angeles landmarks, such as the Hollywood Sign, downtown Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and the Californias beautiful coastline. This is a tour flight. However, after you’ve booked you can inquire about making it a lesson where you could take the controls during the flight. Note this is Not possible on all flights. Cat is international award-winning variety performer Vixen DeVille with 15 years experience in Fire Eating and Flame Manipulation. At the newly renovated Theatre 68 Arts Complex she will take you through the theory and safety precautions behind fire eating and body burning. We'll then actually light up the torches and explore this performance art fully with hand transfers, tongue transfers and of course, extinguishing the flame with your mouth. This is NOT an illusion! By the end of the session you'll be fire eating and body burning like a pro. Other things to note: Wear close-fitting clothes, sleeveless is ideal and either leggings or shorts. Flat shoes, no heels. Avoid wearing lipstick or body moisturizer & avoid use of hairspray. Long hair should be tied back. High Horse Malibu offers private and semi-private (up to four riders) horseback rides in one of the most secluded and scenic areas in Malibu! Our trails traverse rolling hills, wooded canyons, and striking rock formations, with sweeping ocean vistas around every corner! A one of a kind experience you won't forget. Right after you book you'll receive an email from us collecting some basic info (physical stats, riding experience, etc.) so that we have the perfect horses tacked and ready when you arrive. Upon arrival you'll be introduced to your guide and acquainted with your horse. We start every ride off with a ten to fifteen minute riding lesson to get you comfortable and confidant. When everyone feels good - we hit the trail! There are plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the ride. Our goal is for everyone who rides with us to leave with an appreciation for horses and a love of riding! As we depart, you'll melt into our beanbags up top, with your music specially curated to pair with the serenity of the amazing sights and lights on the water. Get up super close to the colorful raging waterfall, giant mural, Queen Mary ocean liner, rainbow bridge and the perfectly lit up Aquarium of the Pacific in rainbow harbor. This true Californian lifestyle paddleboarding experience and photoshoot will begin near the iconic Malibu Pier. This is an ocean-based paddleboarding lesson and experience, with minimal waves due to the shape of the bay. We stay close to shore, at a relaxed pace. The paddleboards are easy to balance on and can also be used sitting down like a kayak. There is a good chance we will see local ocean wildlife like seals, starfish, and dolphins. I will be capturing our paddleboarding adventure on my GoPro from start to finish. I include at least 20 pictures and 1 video per session. This allows you to completely immerse yourself in this experience. You will receive your high-quality photos and video via Airdrop as soon as we return to the parking lot. In addition to learning your new Californian lifestyle watersport skill, you'll leave feeling rejuvenated from the fresh sea air, Californian sunshine, and stunning coastal views. Before you come: We will try and contact you to size you for a wetsuit/board to help speed up the pre-lesson portion, and also give you an update on the conditions for your lesson. 20 minutes before the lesson: We will have you sign a waiver and get into your wetsuit. First 45min- hour of lesson: We will be on land and cover all of the basics, technique, and safety. The following 30-40 minutes: we'll be in the water together. I'll help you get into waves and give you instruction in the water to help you surf your first wave(s) The remaining time: you'll show what you've learned, We'll be a little more hands-off and either join you in the water or watch from the beach. At the end of the lesson: we'll head back dry off and change out of the wetsuits. --------- A couple of other notes : - If you'd like a private lesson feel free to message me - We will treat you like a person, not a number: We keep smaller classes (7 people or less unless specially requested otherwise) for a more individualized experience.
