LET'S GET OUT OF THE TOURIST AREA where it is overpriced and crowded with people! This tour focuses on Ueno, which is not as crowded as Shibuya, Shinjuku and is less touristy. It is also famous with Japanese foodies for a good quality at reasonable prices. I'm going to take you to popular bars and restaurants for ONLY LOCALS (NO TOURISTS!!) where the staff speaks only Japanese. I will order signature dishes, and we will discuss the food and drink (and you can pepper me with questions). We will visit 4 restaurants/taverns in total, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered meat, etc. You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks (5 or more different type of drinks) and you'll be able to experience what Japanese taverns are like. After visiting these three taverns, we will end the tour at a great Ramen shop that is popular with locals. At the end of the tour, I will explain which train station you need to go, depending on where you go. You are going to have a full-size meal on the day in several different restaurants included ramen, so again pls come hungry!

Our host, who is also an English speaking guide, will give a lecture on the tea ceremony. Afterwards, guests can try making and drinking the tea themselves. Tourist information of Miura Misaki. The long-awaited 20th Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from February 5 (Monday) to March 3 (Sunday), 2024! Miura Misaki is port town of a base for tuna fishing boats. There is a restaurant with a nice reputation for its tuna fish cuisine, and our guests will enjoy homemade Japanese dishes. It's made from freshly caught fish from sea and vegetables in Miura. After, we will go to spots with a spectacular view of "Jōgashima." There, we will go to "Awa Lighthouse" to see the Pacific Ocean stretching out before our eyes. "Jōgashima" is also a power spot and was awarded two stars in the "Michelin Green Guide Japon." We will return to Misaki Port, pay a visit to "Kainan Shrine," and then head home.

Learn the art of Kintsugi—repairing ceramics using lacquer dusted with precious metals. While it usually takes more than a month to finish a Kintsugi piece, I've developed this lesson so you can participate in this craft in one afternoon. With my guidance, you'll apply lacquer and 24-karat gold powder using the traditional techniques and methods. You'll leave with your own Kintsugi piece as a souvenir of the experience. Other things to note At the end of the session you'll be taking home your own Kintsugi ceramic cup, decorated with 24-karat gold. This is worth about 100 usd or 10,000 JPY.

We will meet and start at the busiest train station in the world, Shinjuku station east exit. Then we will walk to the atmospheric alleyways of Omoideyokocho, where we can see a plethora of small Japanese izakayas that mostly offers yakitori or chicken skewers. Then next we will walk to the Kabukicho area, This entertainment district is filled with bright lights, bars, restaurants, and pachinko parlors as well as touts and hustlers. This place is also where you can find the famous Godzilla road and then from there, we will go to the Golden Gai, which is a collection of mismatched tumbledown bars lining alleyways. After this, (IF TIME PERMITS) We can also move to Shibuya, via the JR Yamanote line train and show you the young and vibrant visual of Tokyo. In daytime, we can detour to one of Tokyo’s most popular parks, the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. The park's spacious lawns, meandering walking paths, and tranquil scenery provide a relaxing escape from the busy urban center around it. (Park’s entrance fee not included) The tour is going to be approx. 2 hours. All of these while I take some candid and posed photos of you. The tour is perfect for FIRST TIMER in Shibuya! Shibuya is a modern city that attracts not only foreigners but also Japanese, famous as a nightlife area! We will show you Shibuya now and then. I am a part of a big team, we organize a group tour every weekend in Roppongi, Tokyo. Majority of my guests are from different parts of the world, and some locals. This is a very high energy pub crawl atmosphere. The agenda consists of hopping 3 bars and always ending the night at a club! The average age range of my guests are usually between mid 20s to early 30s. If you enjoy bar hopping and mingling with other travelers to share your experiences abroad, this party is for you!
